Why is gut health important?

Poor gut health has been linked with a myriad of chronic health condition such as autoimmune disease, skin disorders such as eczema, chronic fatigue syndrome. This list goes on.  Gut imbalances can give rise to a number of niggling symptoms such as bloating, gas, constipation, diarrhoea, skin disorders, headaches, migraines and food intolerances.

Your digestive tract is where most of your immune cells are and where you absorb your nutrients, it makes sense that improving gut health can improve health across the whole body.

Comprehensive Stool Analysis and Parasitology Testing

Dependant on your heath status and the information you provide during consultation I may advise stool analysis testing.This test takes a functional look at how well your digestive system is functioning, providing data on beneficial and pathogenic levels of bacteria, yeast, parasites and a wide range of digestive markers.​
